George T Ziegler
Military6 November 1944 - Capt. Ziegler of the 2nd Scouting Force was fortunate enough to survive an accident by managing to bail out when his aircraft (P-51D 44-14898 YF-J) was in a mid-air collision with Lt. Alan F Crump, Ann Arbor MI, 503rd Fighter Squadron in P-51D 44-14143. Lt. Crump was killed.
