MilitaryJOHN DEVRIES in incorrect. It is actually Sybrand Richard de Vries. I am his daughter.
Shot down 14 October 1943 in B-17 #42-30831 'Lazy Baby'. A/C landed in Switzerland, however, T/Sgt Blalock had bailed out prior and was taken as a Prisoner of War (POW).
