He was born on June 1, 1922 in Loma Linda, Calif. and raised in Provo, Utah.
He was the son of the late Edwin R. Lee and Mina (Manchester) Lee.
Mr. Lee was a U.S. World War II Pilot with the Hell's Angels 358th Bomber Squadron; 303rd Bomb Group; 2nd Air Division in the 8th Air Force. He was Squadron Commander in the Vietnam War and retired out of the Pentagon in 1973 with 30 years of service.
He was the husband of the late Doris H. (Monroe) Lee.
