Muente was one of the original members of the 34th Bomb Group, he arrived in England in April 1944, aboard B-24 serial number 41-28851 "The Near Sighted Robin". He was Bombardier on JC Smith crew, and completed 24 missions in the Near Sighted Robin, he flew one mission in B-24 41-29559 "Belchin' Bessie".



25 B-24 missions/ 4 B-17 missions. Germany, France, Belgium, Holland. 27 yrs. Major (USAF ret).
