[Censor no.] Printed caption on reverse: '"I'm sure it wont be long before we march down Fifth Avenue", says Sergeant Frank W Maurino, 1334 W 6th Street, Brooklyn NY, as he reads a letter from home and drinks a mug of tea to keep him warm at an American Army Air Force station somewhere in England. Aged 26, Sgt Maurino was educated at Brooklyn College and was a correspondent with Cluett-Peabody, 2 Park Ave NYC before joining the Air Force. He wants his parents, and his girl friend Lucille Lightcap, 1746 East 24th St Brooklyn to know that: "There's nothing like the Air Corps life. We live clean, eat well, and are in as good a country as anybody on foreign service could wish for."' Roger Freeman Collection
