Frank H Baker
MilitaryFlew in the Hamm raid on 4/22/44. German fighters followed the bombers back to base and attacked. Capt. Baker's B-24 received heavy damage in the subsequent battle. After two unsuccessful attempts to land, he brought the crippled plane in with no loss of life.
