Francis Schaedler served as a radio operator with the 379th Bomb Group. He was shot down on 12 August 1943 in B-17 #425820. He was Killed in Action (KIA).



Schaedler is buried in a group grave with other members of his crew at the Zachary Taylor National Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
