Forrest H Lam
MilitaryForrest Lam was given a DFC +50 years after WWII after "reminding" his then CO of his promise to get it during the war for a particularly challenging mission. He saw how others had not gotten similar awards in the Ball of Fire 93rd BG newsletter so he followed up for himself. This was a special event for him because he could share it with his family. About 35 family members were able to attend the award ceremony and we all enjoyed a special lunch in the Officers Club at Travis AFB.
