2nd Lieutenant Floyd Smith was born August 29, 1921. His next of kin were his parents, Henry and Pearl Smith. He was from La Farge, Wisconsin.
On March 22, 1944, he was the pilot of A-29 tail #BW667 when it crashed near Belfast, Ireland. His unit was the 321st Transport Squadron, 27th Air Transport Group.
He is buried at Bear Creek Cemetery in Vernon County, Wisconsin.
