Crash landed in a field near East Shropham due to the props on two engines running away on form-up for a mission to Frankfurt on 4 Feb 1944 in B-17F 42-30188 'Temptation'. RTD. Failed to Return Brux, Czech shot down 12-May-44 in B-17 42-97654. Killed in Action (KIA). MACR 4861.
