With the Ralph Butler Crew R56. On 26/11/1944 in A/C "Dorty Treek" 44-10485, on Misburg, mission, Germany. Bauer and Yergey were KIA by a direct hit to the nose of A/C. Fuller was killed in the fighter attack. Trombley and Callicrate were both wounded. Both Butler and Ostrander were burned around the face and hands Jones was also burned. Kamarainen was the only one to come out of the A/C unhurt. The A/C crashed at Sarstedt, Germany, MACR10760. He became a POW held in Germany.
