Technical Sergeant Edwin N. Moyer was born June 10, 1918. His next of kin were his wife, Virginia Moyer, his daughter, Judith Ann Moyer, and his father, Edwin Moyer. He was from Whittier, California.

On September 22, 1944, he was serving as the Top Turret Gunner aboard “The Wrangler,” B-17 tail #43-38294, of the 34th Bomb Group, 7th Bomb Squadron, when it was involved in a mid-air collision over Kassel, Germany.

He is buried in Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier.
