Fovrfeld Gravlund, 6710 Esbjerg, Denmark | 29 June 1943 | The body of S/Sgt Casparriello washed ashore near Emmerlev Kiev on June 25, 1943. Along with another crew member whose body was found the next day, he was buried in the Fovrfeld Cemetery in Esbjerg on June 29, 1943. On April 30, 1948, the body was returned to the U.S. A final resting place has not been found at this time. |
