Edward F Simpson

Edward Simpson was a Radio Operator in the 384th Bomb Group. He was on board B-17 # 42-5848 'Patches', badly damaged during the 30 July 1943 raid on Kassel and which landed at Boxted with 6 crew members injured. Shot down on 14 October 1943 in B-17 #42-29800 'Me and My Gal', Ed Simpson was made Prisoner of War (POW).
