Assigned to the 384th BG 544th BS on AAF Station 106 Special Orders #146 dated 17 November 1943, as crew pilot. 22 combat missions.
Attacked by fighters and the pilot injured and several fires on board on mission to Brunswick on 30 Jan 1944, B-17G #42-31415 returned with the fires extinquished but five of the crew had bailed out over Germany. RTD.
Shot down 13 April 1944 in B-17 #42-38112, 'MRS GEEZIL'. Prisoner of War (POW). MACR 3869.
