Staff Sergeant Dominic Fiorani was born January 30, 1920. His next of kin were his parents, Nicholas and Susan Fioriani, and a sister, Mrs. Aldo Vagnetti. He was from Scranton, Pennsylvania.

He was the Ball Turret Gunner aboard “Cindy,” B-17 tail 42-5821, of the 379th Bomb Group, 527th Bomb Squadron, when the aircraft was shot down over Gelsenkirchen, Germany, on August 12, 1943.

He is buried at the Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton.
