On 13-Aug-44, pilot Sanner and cameraman August Kurjack were on a photo reconnaissance of drone bomber (Aphrodite) attack on Le Havre E-boat pens in Mosquito MM370 bomber. Flew to low and close and hit by the bombs explosion, became a POW



Postwar he returned to USAF and remained in SAC flying B-52 on Arclight mission over Vietnam.



Awards: DFC, AM (4OLC), PH, POW, WWII Victory, EAME.
