From Separation Record: "BOMBARDIER B-24 & B-17 HEAVY BOMBERS: Located, identified and bombed assigned targets from a bombardment airplane. Was crew Fire Control and Armament Officer, and had complete control of airplane on bombing approach. Required to have a thorough knowledge of operation and maintenance of Norden Sperry D-8 bombsights, all allied bombing equipment on bomber, and all types of bombs and fuses. Was proficient in pilotage, Dead Reckoning, radio navigation and meteorology. Completed 16 combat missions in European Theatre of Operations with 8th Air Corps, has 122 combat hours and total flight time of 600 hours. Deputy lead on 10 combat missions."
