Revisions
At the end of the war I was told dad was given the rank of Captain...unfortunately I have no documentation as his records were destroyed in a fire.
The serial number for one of his P-51s was 44-63480 CV X - I found it in photos on a website called www.littlefriends.co.uk, which apparently no longer exists. I am wondering where that gallery of photos ended up.
