North Sea 5 miles west of Texel, Netherlands | 29 April 1944 | The aircraft was hit by flak and crashed into the North Sea with the Co-pilot Knowlden still in the plane. He was the only survivor. According to him the rest of the crew bailed out and were never rescued. Charles Louis Dulin attended Cornell College at Mount Vernon, Iowa, class of 1942. Lt Charles L Dulin was musician in a dance band before he entered in the service. He entered the service on 12 August 1942 in Los Angeles, California |
