I am the grandson of Charles E. Abel, who served in the 479th Fighter Group, stationed at RAF Wattisham (USAAF Station 377). I have a lot of photographs of him and his fellow airmen to contribute. I'm interested in finding out more about my grandfather's time in the service because he didn't speak much of it.
