Harrisburg, PA 19 January 2013 John W. Coma 93, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 19, 2013. He was born on December 27, 1919 in San Francisco to the late Dominic Coma and Laura Setta. John was a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran with the 47th Bomb Group. He was a retired Aircraft Radio Engineer for the Federal Government with 30 years of service, an Eagle Scout, a member of Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Harrisburg, Holy Name Society, and the VFW Shopa-Davy Post, Peckville, PA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Anne M. Coma, and his son Philip J. Coma. John is survived by his sons John W. Coma Jr. and wife Debra of Alabama, and Daniel J. Coma and wife Paulette of New Cumberland, his daughter Eileen M. Nardis and husband Daniel of Harrisburg, one sister Gloria Cordelli of Harrisburg, and 6 grandchildren Alexander J. and Jennifer A. Coma both of Alabama, Marie T. Coma of Louisville, KY., Jonathan D. Coma of New Cumberland, and Jason D. and Cory P. Nardis both of Philadelphia. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Father Charles L. Persing at 11 AM Friday, January 25, 2013 at Saint Margaret Mary's Catholic Church 2800 Paxton Church Road Harrisburg, PA 17110. Viewing will be held from 10 AM until time of services. Burial will follow the service, at Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg.
