Robert Merlin Abraham

Military

Bob grew up in Houston, graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and then enlisted in the service to defend his country. Bob faithfully served in the United States Army Air Corps, and was in numerous European theater campaigns during World War II including Normandy, D-Day. Later Bob faithfully served as VFW Commander of his post in Kilgore. Bob moved to Kilgore (TX) in 1970 to pursue a career in the oil and gas business with Johnston-Lawrence Co where he and Rosalie remained after retirement.
