MIA/POW downed by flak near Magyarlad, Hungary (bellylanded remains of P-38L in museum in Yugoslavia) on April 2, 1945. Released 3 weeks later. MACR #13476.
P-38L s/n 44-25786 #1.
Stayed in USAF post war killed in mid-air collision while flying F-84G s/n 51-10391 has CO of the 430th FBS in S. Korea on Feb. 5, 1954.
