'I am looking any survivors, or survivor’s family members or friends for my uncle, Joseph R. Grillo, a deceased former member of the 323rd Bomb Squad. My uncle trained in California. Grillo volunteered for another flight and the bomber and all members were shot down. The bomber crashed in St. Vitz on December 26, 1943 [1944]. Grillo was originally buried in Europe. His body was later exhumed, and his remains are now buried at Mt. Cavalry Cemetery in White Plains, NY. Grillo lived at 43 Pearl Avenue in East White Plains, NY.

I can be reached by email at [email protected]. I hopefully await a response and connection. Joseph R. Grillo'
