Robert Gordon Anderson


Sgt. Robert Gordon Anderson was my father. He was from Cook, Minnesota and enlisted in the 8th Air Force so he would have more choice in his service. He wanted to be a pilot but did not make it and was a tail gunner on a Flying Fortress. He and my mom both worked at Douglas Air Craft in Long Beach, California prior to his enlistment.
