Ed A Torvea

Aircraft, a Spitfire Mk V but available records do not indicate the tail number of the aircraft he was flying. The aircraft sustained battle damage. 2Lt. Ed A. Torvea is believed to have abandoned the aircraft and was subsequently captured as a POW. He was reportedly flying with the Beggin Hill Sector (RAF?) 31st Fighter Group 307th Fighter Squadron. He is not listed in the POW records of the National Archives Records Administration (NARA).
