Daughter Heather Giff (nee Frost) confirmed together Edward and Edna Frost moved to Canada.
Edna Frost, nee Emmett was a member of the Women's Auxiliary Air Force and worked at 9th Air Force Troop Carrier Command at St Vincents, Grantham. Her friend Eileen Pickering, nee Gascoyne, said that Edna was very fond of the American's they worked with.
The 9th Air Force assumed full command of St Vincents shortly after D-Day and the WAAFs were posted to different sites. Eileen believes Edna was based somewhere in Ireland where she met a Canadian serviceman who she later married and travelled back to Canada with.

Eileen Pickering, nee Gascoyne sent the associated media to the American Air Museum in October 2014. I telephoned her to ask her about her experiences and she told me about her friend Edna who she had sent a picture of with two Americans. Eileen had attempted to stay in contact with Edna in Canada, but they had eventually lost contact.
