Lt. Bill Major and Sgt. Hobson observe #2 engine repairs on 42-31678 "Little Patches." "Little Patches" arrived at Bassingbourn on January 21, 1944 and was assigned to the 324th Bomb Squadron. Some 34 different crews flew this airplane before the war ended. It was returned safely to the USA after the war.
