Warren F Wilson
MilitaryCrashed at Berlin on 9/12/44 in B-17 "Belle of the Brawl". POW at Stalag Luft 4 and Stalag Luft I. He flew on Leland Deck crew, but was shot down with Maj. Robert Farwell. He completed 14 missions from 08 Jun 1944 to 10 September 1944. He was shot down on his 15th mission. His crew's B-17 was named 'Lady Elaine'.
Post war he graduated from the U-Minn in 1949 as a mechanical engineer and was for many years a Flight Test engineer for Boeing. He headed up the crew of the second 747 used by Boeing in sales ventures around the world. In 1993 he was Chairman of the 306th Association Seattle Reunion.
