Warren F Tryloff
MilitaryShot down on 12 Sept 1944. Flying in the lead squadron of the lead group was hit three times by flak at 1126hrs. First flak hit was in the cockpit, setting the area on fire and causing hydraulic and oxygen failure at 27,000ft. And crew were ordered to bail out. Plane crashed 12 miles north-east of Berlin. This was his first mission and his pilot was Maj. Robert Farwell. Prisoner of War (POW) at Stalag Luft I.
