Warren Graff served as a pilot with the 78th Fighter Group. During his early days in England, he had to make a forced landing upon take-off at Goxhill due to perceived low fuel. Plane was P-47 41-6384.
On 30 July 1943 he evaded capture when he was shot down over Germany.
