Theodore A Kline
Military ROLL OF HONOURShot down 13 April 1945 in B-17 #4339184. Killed in Action (KIA). Bombs from one of our planes in the formation exploded in mid-air after release and damaged this aircraft.
Plane crashed 200m north of the german village Bebensee, 200m east of the road between Bad Segeberg and Leezen in Schleswig-Holstein.
German Report after the war: Three Airmen bailed out and one was escorted by police to Bad Segeberg. One corpse was not possible to be identified because of severe burnings. Theodore Kline (Nr. O 205 8830) was identified. Both were buried in Bebensee and later taken to possibly France.
