SSgt Horine survived World War II, but unfortunately died in a mid-air collision while flying in a B-29 in 1949. Oddly enough, he was in a B-24 aircraft with the last three numbers of 364 during the 1 August 1943 Ploesti Raid, yet died on tail number 364 on the B-29 in 1949 while serving with the 92nd BG, 326th BS.
