Killed in Action (KIA) 26-Feb-43 in B-17F #42-5056 'Devil's Playmate', 305BG/364BS while serving as Navigator. The aircraft was shot down by German fighters and crashed into North Sea between the Frisian Islands and Helgoland, Germany while on a mission to Wilhelmshaven, Germany. His name is spelled Williszewski in MACR 15120, Wiliszeski in Brotherhood. ABMC has his name spelled Waliszewski. ABMC record is correct per U.S. War Department Records.
