Crashed at Uelson on 10/28/44 in B-17 #42-102543, Prisoner of War (POW).

When the Group memorial association were organising a trip to Germany in June 1998 Gailey requested a visit to Moosburg Stalag V11 the last stop for so many POWs in 1945.
