Robert Lennes Burry

Military

Robert L Burry was killed on 15 December 1944 returning from a mission on Kassel. Weather became very heavily overcast and the aircraft was trying to land using radio beacons. They hit the radio tower at Daventry and all of the crew members who did not bail out were killed in the ensuing crash.
