He was born & raised in Boston, graduated from Cathedral High School. He served as a Navigator in the Air Force during World War II. He had a long career in the airline industry & retired as the District Sales Manager of SABENA Air Lines in 1991. Devoted father of Robert J. Lynch Jr & his wife Maureen of Westport, CT, Jane Shilalie & her husband Robert of Holliston, Kathryn L. Meinelt & her husband Walter of Topsfield, Stephen D. Lynch & his wife Barbara of Westwood, Mary Jo Sharkey & her husband James of Natick, John W. Lynch & his wife Maryann of Melrose. Brother of the late Stephen J. Lynch & Lillian Eager. Also survived by 13 grandchildren |
