Crashed after takeoff on a mission to Biarritz airfield, FR on 27 Mar 1944 in B-24H #41-29364 'Stardust'. May have collided with another 466th plane in low visibility. Killed in Action (KIA). Brown is particulary mentioned on page 190 as a very good looking, likeable boy who had recently married in El Paso.
