[stamp] and ‘238759.’ [Censor no.] Printed caption on reverse: 'Even the CHICAGO RAPID TRANSIT COMPANY cannot compete for speed with the U.S. Air Coprs in which its former ticket agent Richard E. von Holdt is now serving as a First Lieutenant. Holdt, who is in Britain , formerly lived with his parents at 6160 N. Winthrop Avenue, Chicago. He is 25 years of age and engaged to marry Miss Ann Boland, 6578 N. Glenwood Avenue, Chicago. He sends the following message home "England is Ok but there is no place like home". O.P.S. Lt. Van Holdt takes a siesta, in a Services club somewhere in England.'
