Military15 April 1944, Oberpfaffenhofen; Shot down 29 April 1944 in B-17 #42-102448, Berlin. 2nd Lt. James A. Bouvier, pilot. Plane hit by flak over Berlin. Plane finished off by Me109, 15km NNW of Coswig. Wounded in right thigh. Prisoner of War (POW). Interned Lazarette Obermasfeld and Meiningen, 9 May 1944 to 20 September 1944. Interned Stalag Luft IV, 22 September 1944 to 6 February 1945. Camp evacuated and marched across Germany until 2 May 1945.
