Flew as waist gunner in the Lady Liz, which was piloted by Warren Cerrone.
Involved in a mid-air collision with another B-17 from the same group on return from operations to airfields in GB on 21 Feb 1944 in B-17G 42-31370 and crashed on Reedham Marshes, Norfolk. Killed in Action (KIA)
