Bernard T Healey

Military ROLL OF HONOUR

Healey played baseball and football at Creighton University for two years before enlisting as an aviation cadet with the Army Air Corps at Fort Crook, Nebraska in November 1941.



His aircraft was shot down 30 December 1942 in B-17 F 42-2975 while serving as Co-Pilot. He is believed to have baled out of the stricken aircraft over the sea and was drowned. Aircraft crashed into the sea near Ile d'Ouessant, France. Killed in Action (KIA).
