Pasquale Mirando was a member of the 389th Bomb Group/546th Bomb Squadron. He was on B-24J #42-100046 'Patsy Ann' when it crashed shortly after takeoff, believed due to severe icing conditions on a mission to Gilze-Rijen airfield, Holland on 10 February 1944. Killed in Action (KIA).
