A/C P-51B 42-103332 abandoned Lyons area. 1st Lt Lajeunesse baled out. 6-Jun-44. MACR 5610. Evaded with the assistance of French resistance for 3 months till liberated by Canadian forces. EVD.

He was later transferred to Mitchell Field, New York.



Awards: AM, WWII Victory.



Post-war: Retired from USAF in 1965 at the rank of Major having served in Korea. Also a fireman in Worcester, MA.
