Completed 18 combat missions as co-Pilot in B-17's with the 493rd BG/863rd BS from Debach. Transferred to the 862nd BS in late November 1944 and flew a further 8 combat mission. Then transferred with the 862nd BS in February 1945 to fly B-17's with the 3rd Scouting Force at Wormingford, on weather scouting missions.
