A worker at an aircraft plant in California, he enlisted in the Air Corps in January 1943. Sent overseas in 1944, he was assigned to the 305th Bomb Group / 366th Bomb Squadron and died in Germany with the loss of B-17 43-3805, shot down 17 October 1944. Killed in Action (KIA). Missing Air Crew Report - MACR 9473.
