Julius Henry Almond Jr

Military

Assigned to 387FS, 365FG, 9AF USAAF. Flew 94 missions over France, Belgium, and Germany. Completed Tour Duty (ETD).

Awards: DFC, AM, WWII Victory.

Post War: Recalled to USAF to train new pilots in San Antonio for Korean War, remained in USAF as civil engineer till retiring as a Lt Colonel in 1972. Director of the Water Department for the City of Oklahoma City until his second retirement in 1984.
