WIA. on 5 Apr 45 The 'Screwball Express' was severely hit by flak and crashed at Bellheim. The crew bailed out. Capt Hourtal landed feet first with his parachute caught in a tree, his feet were severed, he was taken to a French hospital and then transferred back to England. B-17 #42-97128.
