Prisoner of War (POW) near Schonau B-17 43-38048 19-Apr-45. After bailing out of the aircraft he landed in a tree (at some point he fractured his clavicle or shoulder girdle); under which the Germans were waiting for him. He was transferred to a hospital in Prague after capture.
